When: Saturday, December 6th from the morning to the afternoon (it may seem long but its just one day!)
Where: Philadelphia 1st Ward Church
What: We will be donating clothes to and participating in a clothing drive for the sisters in the Philadelphia 1st Ward.
Please collect gently used clothing (nothing with stains or holes) and drop them off at Jill Fairchild's home or bring them to the church Saturday morning. Sisters are needed to help organize the clothing, set up at the church, and help with the distribution. If you are unable to bring clothing, you can bring a dessert for afterward. The more sisters to help, the faster things will go!
In talking with sisters from the Philly 1st Ward, this is a big deal to the West Africans who will be receiving these clothes. They take whatever they can, in whatever sizes, because they are in need of so much. Please, PLEASE take a day to help make their holiday season a little better.
