Temple Announcement and Temples Book

1. The new Temple location is officially moved. It’s now at 18th and Vine, diagonally across the street from Logan Square. It was at Broad (14th) and Vine (approx).

Read more about it in this press release.

If for any reason any of you are contacted by the media for a spokesperson, the only one is Elder Smith.

2. Just an FYI, I was at Costco the other day and they had a really nice photo book Temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with great photos and facts of about 125 temples. It was
$21.99. Thought I would put the word out there as it is rare to find LDS material in local stores, and Christmas is close.

It is by Thunder Bay Press, and is an independent publication, not affiliated with or reviewed by the church. The author is Christoper Kimball Bigelow, return missionary, BYU graduate, was a Ensign magazine editor, and author of The Timeline History of Mormonism and a few other books.

The pictures are very beautiful and it has very interesting facts including location, dates of announcement, groundbreaking, dedication, and listing of temple district and some little tidbits about location.
