Thanks to All

Thanks to all who pitched in this last week to help Blakes pack and clean, and make trips to their storage shed and Goodwill. I can imagine them echoing the words of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s sonnet #44.

I thank all who have loved me in their hearts,
With thanks and love from mine.
Deep thanks to all
Who paused a little near the prison-wall
To hear my music in its louder parts
Ere they went onward, each one to the mart's
Or temple’s occupation, beyond call.

I know I learned a lot about love, charity, and “pure religion undefiled” from you all. What we learned in Sacrament meeting last week was put into action.

  1. In Shellie's real words:

I don't know that there are enough words out there to truly express my appreciation to those that came and helped us with the move.

It was an impossible task that I could never of handled without all y'alls help.

Everyone who showed up to help us clean and give your hunbys giant hugs for coming to help move all the funiture in what was record time between rain storms.

Marie, thanks for bringing your parents as well and a special BIG thanks to Elizabeth, Charity, Evone, Sheryl, and Trudy and the sister missionaries who came almost every day and Sandy, Devon, Ellen, and Meredith (I hope I didn't leave anyone out). If I did, please forgive me; my brain got packed in one of the first boxes and is buried in storage and I don't know when I will get it back.

Please know that Darren and I are eternally grateful for all the help and pray that blessings will be showered upon each of you for your incredible service to us.

We will miss you dearly and forever think fondly of this ward and the friends that we have made here.

    Forever grateful,
    Shellie"
