Quilt Group Basics

The Valley Forge 2nd Ward is starting a quilt group called Quilt Group Basics. You are invited to join them on Monday April 6 at 10 am for the first class, and then on the first Monday of the month thereafter.

In the first meeting you will learn how to use the rotary cutter. If you have scrap fabric, please bring some or we will have some to share. You will be cutting 4 1/2 inch squares which can make a scrap quilt or a practice patch.

Our next project will be the Rail Fence Quilt which will involve strip piecing.



Tools needed: rotary cutter, ruler and mat (if you have them already), scissors and a sewing machine. Or, try out our tools. Do not buy these items until you are sure you want to continue.

If you are bringing children, please provide something to entertain them and a snack to share.
