A Request for a Stake Sister

Sisters,

A wonderful woman, an immigrant from Liberia, who lives in Philadelphia and is a member of the Philly First Ward, was the target of an armed robbery this last week. She is beat up badly, but alive. However, the men were armed and they cleared her apartment of all valuables even including her clothing and blankets/bedding--even one of the beds.

We are looking to help her get her emergency needs met. If you have any of the following, please let me know and we will arrange a way to pick it up and deliver it to the city:

- BLANKETS, blankets, blankets
- a mattress, any size
- clothing, women's, all kinds. She is about a size 8-10/medium
- a cooking surface, such as a plug-in electrical burner, or even a tiny gas grill/stove she could use right outside
